Terms of Service
Last updated: 13 July 2026
1. Acceptance and business authority
By creating an account or using Govarna, you agree to these terms. Govarna is a business-to-business service. If you use it for an organization, you must be authorized to act for that organization and to submit its information.
2. The service
Govarna provides software for AI system inventory, governance evidence, policies, controls, risk-tier workflows, security questionnaires, and related exports. Features can vary by plan and can change as the product develops.
Govarna is not a law firm. Product mappings, templates, classifications, drafts, and exports are organizational tools and general information, not legal advice, an audit opinion, a certification, or a guarantee of compliance. Use qualified legal, security, and compliance professionals for material decisions.
3. Accounts and access
You must provide accurate account information, use individual credentials, protect your authentication methods, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access to security@govarna.com. Organization owners and administrators control invitations, roles, and access within their workspace.
4. Customer content
You are responsible for the content you submit, the permissions needed to submit it, and the decisions you make from product outputs. Do not upload content you are not authorized to process or disclose. Govarna processes customer content to provide requested product functions; any customer-specific data-use, deletion, or return terms must be stated in the applicable signed agreement.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Govarna to:
- break the law or violate another person's rights;
- upload malicious code or interfere with service operation;
- bypass authentication, authorization, rate limits, or tenant boundaries;
- probe or access data, accounts, or systems without authorization;
- misrepresent a Govarna output as a certification, legal opinion, or independent audit; or
- use the service to send spam or other unauthorized communications.
6. AI-assisted outputs and human review
Govarna uses deterministic rules for its core EU AI Act risk-tier workflow and Anthropic-assisted processing for limited questionnaire workflows. AI-assisted drafts can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular customer or jurisdiction. You must review source context, factual claims, and missing-evidence signals before using an output externally. Read the AI Usage Statement for the current implementation path.
7. Plans, trials, and billing
Plan features, prices, trial details, billing frequency, taxes, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms are those presented in the applicable checkout flow or signed order form. Stripe processes checkout and subscription billing. This page does not add a refund policy, cancellation period, price-protection promise, or payment grace period beyond what is expressly presented or signed.
8. Availability and service changes
We work to operate and improve Govarna, but software and third-party services can experience errors, interruptions, or changes. No uptime percentage, response time, support window, service credit, or other service-level commitment applies unless it appears in a signed agreement.
9. Privacy and security
The Privacy Policy describes current information categories, provider roles, and contact routes. The Security & Trust page describes current architecture and does not claim absolute security or a Govarna certification.
10. Restriction and account closure
Govarna may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address suspected misuse, unauthorized access, security risk, non-payment, or service integrity. Commercial termination rights and data handling after closure are governed by the applicable checkout terms or signed agreement. Contact support to request account assistance or closure.
